MY MOM

My mother made all of my clothes growing up. She made my daily outfits and the dresses I wore on stage when I began performing as an artist. She made couture from nothing in Soviet Russia because nothing was all we had. Creativity was how she survived. She transformed hand me downs into clothes that turned heads on the bus.

This dress is a message that goes beyond borders and politics.

By wearing this dress, we can remind our moms they are always loved, even when we are far away.
